The Pro and Elite are the new models to come out of the Stoplock branding that offer a great alternative to the original with upgraded design and double hook locking devices they both offer high security upgraded features. It cost a few extra quid but not that much more than the then original.

The Stoplock original is the original steering wheel lock from way back when. They are convenient to use and offer a visual deterrent and additional security device and come in cheaper if you are on a budget. They are better than nothing to stop car theft.

When it comes to an overall winner it is to be the Stoplock Pro or Elite (a comparison review can be found here) this is simply because the locking clamp on the Stoplock original could damage your steering wheel with its metal and plastic components plus I found it cumbersome to install and remove. Also, the bar on the Stoplock Original isn’t as thick or long. The longer the steering wheel locks the hard it is to turn the steering wheel when attached.
With the newer design and upgraded locking mechanism, the Stoplock Pro Or Elite are the best security steering wheel lock between the two.
Having said all that if you have an older model car then they will both work fine and both are highly visible steering wheel locks to buy.
